10/13/11 Current News from the Webmaster:

  • The conference was a success!  Julie, the conference chair, said this:
    • "We put in a ton of hours on preparation and we tried to think of every detail.  I believe the preparation really made the conference run smoothly.  People really loved Kathie Nunley, the keynote.  We had a fun rocket launch activity in the gym - it was snowing here that day!  The rock raffle had great samples and was fun as usual.  Margaret brought her usual rock samples for her museum."
  • ISTA has obtained the non-profit 501c3 organization status!
